“The Kingdom That Is Transforming the World, offers a fresh and positive perspective on God's plan for his church and how it affects each of us personally.”
Susan Wereska, Co-author of A Group of One's Own: Nurturing the Woman Writer
The book is written in two parts. Part I is history. It describes what life was like in the ancient world. Masses of men, mostly illiterate, unenlightened, were victims of every ill known to man because of their ignorance and the almost universal brutality.
No hope invigorated their labors. No city beyond the grave inspired them. No political faith permitted them to look for a better tomorrow.
The world into which Jesus came was a dark and hopeless place. The followers of Jesus, inspired by the hope of eternal life, began the conquest of ignorance and brutality with their teaching and ministrations of love. The origins of all the educational and medical institutions that so bless us today and the introduction of the scientific age and all its attending benefits are traced directly to the disciples of Christ. The historical section of the book concludes with an exciting report on the ministry of the church in the world today.
Part II of the book is the Scriptural support for the thesis that there shall be no end to the increase and the wonderful blessings of the Kingdom of God in this world until the Lord returns to greet his world-wide triumphant church.
